A Visa pour l’image, en septembre prochain, le photographe Michel Setboun présentera « Génération Sygma », un livre conçu et réalisé de la même façon que « Génération Sipa » (Ed. La Martinière). C’est un grand projet qui anime depuis longtemps Michel Setboun. Le photojournaliste ne se définit pas comme auteur de ces livres, mais comme « chef d’orchestre ». Des orchestres pas simple à diriger !

Pendant 30 ans, l’homme a été à la tête d’un groupe de photographes collectionneurs de scoops. Ils fabriquaient les « covers » des plus grands magazines du monde. Et puis, le gestionnaire méticuleux des intérêts de Sygma a été emporté, non par une révolution qu’il avait anticipée, mais par la faiblesse de sa force.
