Le 2 avril 2014, « Quelque part en France à l’été 1944 » de John G. Morris sera en librairie. Il fait suite à une exposition à Visa pour l’image en septembre 2013 et précède une exposition itinérante dont nous reparlerons.

Endre Ernő Friedmann, connu sous le pseudonyme de Capa, est né le 22 octobre 1913 à Pest (Hongrie) sous le signe du « Buffle d’eau » dans l’astrologie chinoise, ce qui est quand même troublant pour un homme mort le 25 mai 1954 dans les rizières indochinoises. Fiction.

The death of John Hillelson
John F. Hillelson has died. A great figure of 20th century photojournalism has left us. The « John Hillelson Agency » represented Magnum in London, but also Sygma and Viva. He collaborated with and sold the work of photographers including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Erwitt, Cole etc. I would need a book to name them all. On Monday February 13, John F Hillelson succumbed to complications from heart surgery wrote his son James Fox who asked that the photographic community be informed.
